It’s an easy day to miss. I noticed that Christmas decorations were up in stores IMMEDIATELY after Halloween. But an attitude of gratitude should be a way of life. Apparently it was with the Apostle Paul:
I thank my God always concerning you for the grace of God which was given to you by Christ Jesus… (1 Corinthians 1.4, NKJV)
Therefore I also, after I heard of your faith in the Lord Jesus and your love for all the saints, do not cease to give thanks for you, making mention of you in my prayers… (Ephesians 1.15, 16, NKJV)
I thank my God upon every remembrance of you… (Philippians 1.3, NKJV)
We give thanks to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, praying always for you… (Colossians 1.3, NKJV)
PS An attitude of gratitude was life or death to God’s people in the Old Testament…stay tuned.
And a very Happy Thanksgiving to you, June and family! Thanks for writing these every day!
And a wonderful Thanksgiving to you!
Amen!! Thankful for you and June and your influence in our lives through the years! 42 now if my math is correct! Happy Thanksgiving!
42?! Close enough. What, 1981 – 2023? Mercy! Where does the time go?
