On September 19, I published ChatGPT on my assessment of my experience with that expression of AI. I concluded:

Bottom Line: use AIs with care.

Since then, I’ve read multiple articles, some positive, some apocalyptic, some cautioning the same issue that gave me pause: ChatGPT is pretending to be human. I’ve talked with people who use the technology productively. I intend to write something more comprehensive next week, but I’m still sorting it all out.

In the meantime, here’s something from Hosea that may apply. What do you think?
