Yesterday, I encouraged us to use this time of mandatory decreased activity intentionally, to enjoy the blessing of downtime.
Today, I have discovered a poem from a Christian source that beautifully reinforces that message. It needs no comment. Take a deep breath and enjoy.
Be still, and know that I am God. (Psalm 46.10)
Beautiful poem. Thank you for sharing.
I’m definitely focusing on this time to read & study even more. I want to grow in wisdom.
One morning this week I was really struggling when I got up. The first reading that day started with this:
“If you make the LORD your refuge, if you make the Most High your shelter, no evil will conquer you; no plague will come near your home. For he will order his angels to protect you wherever you go.
Psalm 91:9–11 NLT”
It has comforted me and given me strength.
Good word, Kathleen. Thank you.
