A few days after our conversation, Ray sent me this story:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><em>This morning we had lunch after church, and I sat next to a brand new believer (Jan) and she told me that she just started meeting with the wife (Rosana) of one of the guys I disciple.\u00a0 So, Jan mentioned that Rosana was helping her to memorize a verse from the Bible.\u00a0 Jan said that memorizing the verse was work, but she was sticking with it.\u00a0 So, I enthusiastically said, \u201cThat\u2019s great!\u201d and I explained your participation\/success principle and shared the archery example.\u00a0 She has one verse now: <strong>instant participation, instant success<\/strong>!<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">It reminds me of when I started working with Len, my physical therapist, taking him through <a href=\"https:\/\/everymanawarrior.com\/\">Every Man a Warrior<\/a>. I told him scripture memory was an important part of it. He replied, \u201cI can\u2019t memorize too well.\u201d My response? \u201cOf course you can!\u201d I reminded him that he didn\u2019t get through engineering school and then physical therapy training because he couldn\u2019t memorize. And he\u2019s doing fine: <em>instant participation, instant success<\/em>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><em>I have hidden your word in my heart that I might not sin against you.
