It takes no effort to forget\u2013it takes a lot of energy to remember.<\/em> <a href=\"https:\/\/johnedmathison.org\/exercise-your-memory\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">John Ed, May 24, 2023<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><em>For I received from the Lord what I also passed on to you: The Lord Jesus, on the night he was betrayed, took bread, and when he had given thanks, he broke it and said, \u201cThis is my body, which is for you; do this in remembrance of me.\u201d In the same way, after supper he took the cup, saying, \u201cThis cup is the new covenant in my blood; do this, whenever you drink it, in remembrance of me.\u201d (1 Corinthians 11.23 &#8211; 25, NIV)<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><em>So I will always remind you of these things, even though you know them and are firmly established in the truth you now have. I think it is right to refresh your memory as long as I live&#8230;And I will make every effort to see that after my departure you will always be able to remember these things. (2 Peter 1.12 &#8211; 15, NIV<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><em>Greater love has no one than this: to lay down one\u2019s life for one\u2019s friends.
