It applies during this time of social isolation:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large is-resized\"><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/drbobewell.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/04\/image-6.png?resize=387%2C503&#038;ssl=1\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-2053\" width=\"387\" height=\"503\" srcset=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/drbobewell.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/04\/image-6.png?w=773&amp;ssl=1 773w, https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/drbobewell.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/04\/image-6.png?resize=231%2C300&amp;ssl=1 231w, https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/drbobewell.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/04\/image-6.png?resize=768%2C998&amp;ssl=1 768w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 387px) 100vw, 387px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Tomorrow, I want to write about the lines from the third stanza: &#8220;With sanctuaries empty, may homes become the place we ponder resurrection and celebrate your grace.&#8221; <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">But for today, let&#8217;s meditate on the last stanza, which correctly describes what churches ought always to be:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><em>A scattered, faithful body that&#8217;s doing ministry. In homes and in the places of help and healing, too, we live the Easter message by gladly serving you.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">There are two excellent books challenging churches to major on <em>scattered<\/em> as much as they do on <em>gathered.<\/em> I recommend them both.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li><a href=\"https:\/\/smile.amazon.com\/Gathered-Scattered-Church-Exponential-ebook\/dp\/B003E2UPT2\/ref=sr_1_1?dchild=1&amp;keywords=hugh+halter+AND%3A+the+gathered&amp;qid=1587942200&amp;sr=8-1\">And<\/a>: The Gathered and Scattered Church by Hugh Halter<\/li><li><a href=\"https:\/\/smile.amazon.com\/Scattered-Gathered-Equipping-Disciples-Frontline-ebook\/dp\/B07ST181NM\/ref=sr_1_1?dchild=1&amp;keywords=Neil+Hudson&amp;qid=1587942449&amp;sr=8-1\">Scattered and Gathered<\/a> by Neil Hudson<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><em>And there arose on that day a great persecution against the church in Jerusalem, and <strong>they were all scattered<\/strong> throughout the regions of Judea and Samaria, except the apostles.\u00a0Now those who were <strong>scattered <\/strong>went about preaching the word.
